Restored Pianos
We stock a range of pianos, fully restored to the highest level. The pianos have been restored at Piano Fiks in Poland. Poland has a history of piano construction and reconditioning dating back centuries.
At Piano Fiks the workers still undergo old-fashioned apprenticeships to learn the skills of piano making and restoration. Each stage of the restoration process is painstakingly undertaken to ensure the highest quality and at the end of the process the piano will be almost indistinquishable from new.
Bespoke Painted Pianos
We are delighted to introduce our exciting new service: Bespoke piano painting. In collaboration with the artist Geraldine van Heemstra, a piano of your choice can be hand-painted with a theme of your choice. This service is available for new and used pianos.As each piano and design is unique a quotation will be prepared for you after an initial discussion with Geraldine. Geraldine van Heemstra studied History of Art at the University of Utrecht and the Conservation of Easel Paintings at the Courtauld Institute of Art in London. She has worked in many museums, such as the National Gallery in Washington, the Mauritshuis in The Hague and for the Royal Collection in Windsor.
